Jared sold his truck today and bought a dark blue 2006 Hyundai. The truck was perfect for his landscape design work, but not so perfect for his new environmental engineering job and 45 minute commute to Hill AF Base. If the gas mileage wasn't enough of an incentive to sell the truck, I think that the truck rolling down the hill of our cul-de-sac twice last winter (and bending the tree of one of our neighbors) was another good reason. His nickname for the white truck was "Snowman". We took that truck on our first date, from the SLC Museum of Fine Arts Monet to Picasso exhibit to the Red Rock Brewery for dinner and a looooooong walk around the temple grounds downtown.
