As a Montessori tradition, each child gets to have a "walk around the sun" to celebrate their birthday. Kiran stood by the month of March, and took one full walk around the "sun" candle for each year of his life. After each walk around the sun, he helped me to explain what happened during that year of his life from the photo poster that we made together. Happy 4th birthday Kiran!
