Jared and I took the kids to see Disney on Ice tonight. Adrian and Kiran were telling all of their friends at school - on Thursday is Disney on Ice! Iris couldn't wait to see Tinkerbell and had to watch her Tinkerbell movie before we left for the show to make sure she remembered all the characters. We got the tickets through a Galliven Center promotion - for every 10 cans donated to the Utah Food Bank, you received a free Disney on Ice ticket. We brought our own snacks and the kids loved eating the sweet plantains that abuelita sent in the mail! Before the show started, we went to the "princess preshow", which featured Cinderella and the princess from Princess & the Frog. Iris loved seeing the princesses and Kiran was absolutely beside himself when the two princesses blew him kisses. Jared asked the kids if they liked seeing the princesses and Adrian said he didn't really like that part. Kiran said he did, and Jared explained that when he gets a little older like Adrian, he might not like it as much. Kiran said, "Jared. Even when I am older like Adrian, I will still like princesses!"
