Kiran loves to help out in the kitchen, and he takes this job very seriously. Each morning, I hear, "Mommy, I do it!" as he climbs up on his stool, pulls a spatula out of the drawer and prepares to flip pancakes or stir eggs. And at dinnertime, he stands next to the cutting board and passes each vegetable that I chop into the saute pan. Putting on the cover has become a big thing these days. Every pan must be covered, according to Kiran.
