We left for California this morning with Mom and Dad to visit Steph, Natalia, and their new beautiful baby Matthias, who is 2 months old. After seeing lots of photos, Adrian and Kiran were excited to meet their new cousin. On the way to California, we stopped at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Mom and Dad have gone there to watch speed trials, and I've always wondered what they looked like. The Salt Flats are a remnant of ancient Lake Bonneville, back when glaciers (and dinosaurs) dominated the landscape. Adrian and Kiran had a blast playing and running in the salt.
